Our Field Services Team offers unbiased, reliable, completely independent observational data about our client-partner’s waste stream, from both inside and outside the bin. A snap shot of the inside of your waste bin may reveal part of the problem, however, on occasion seeing the problem from outside the bin, or at different angles, can reveal the bigger picture and the cause of any issues. Blue Planet does not rely solely on technology, we rely on both, human intelligence and technology.

Blue Planet has a vast network of per diem, on call, Field Service Team members across the United States. This network allows Blue Planet to deploy Human Assets to Client-Partner locations to verify service data and make observations both inside and outside the container.

Smart Waste Technology

Blue Planet can deploy its Smart Waste Technology (SWT) systems upon request, or when and where strategically necessary to track a Client-Partner’s waste stream performance. Data collected by our SWT will be uploaded via the Cloud and available through the web portal. Blue Planet will also deploy members of its Field Services Team as needed, upon request, or to verify data received from our SWT sensors.

SmartTrash provides a fully automated compactor management system. After it is installed and calibrated, SmartTrash does all the rest: determining the optimal time to empty the compactor, communicating with the waste hauler and other stakeholders, issuing POs for pickups and finally closing out the order after the pickup has been completed. Fullness monitoring (or waste monitoring) is as easy as opening up your app.

The CleanFLEX is an ultrasonic fill-level sensor and camera from ECube Labs designed to monitor waste bin fill levels. It measures the distance between the sensor and the waste material using ultrasonic technology, providing fill-level data with a resolution of 1 cm (0.4”).
