LEED Reporting
USGBC LEED requires projects to measure and report both the total waste generated and the amount diverted from landfills and incineration. This includes tracking special waste streams and providing a final waste management report detailing all waste generated, including disposal and diversion rates. Projects must also establish waste diversion goals and describe their strategies for diverting materials, and their disposal facility.
